Netflix Selects Ideal Performer for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the major clash won’t take place until the third season, and a adored, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

The streaming service revealed this week that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Bentham. Bon Clay has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a rendition of that character reimagined as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the live-action series, as in the initial comic and animated series.

Escola joins several other recently announced actors who will portray the organization to reality, such as leader Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, an emerging star as another operative, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the ruler of the desert kingdom.

Although Bon Clay is a key figure of Baroque Works, the character won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. With the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this signals a significant shift in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.

The actor’s combination of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a standout choice for the role. Besides their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s most celebrated roles.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
