Previous BBC Advisers Participate in MPs' Inquiry Following Claims of Bias in Unauthorized Memorandum

She commences by providing background to the disclosed memorandum authored by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.

"It is not my wish for the BBC tilting this way or that way, I simply desire it balanced, unbiased and just," he states.

When asked if he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, Prescott responds: "Absolutely not. It is important to note, numerous aspects the BBC does is exceptional - encompassing documentary and entertainment content."

But he adds: "There is real work that must be undertaken at the BBC."

The second former external British Broadcasting Corporation specialist questioned by the group, Caroline Daniel, remarks she takes the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it operates a "ongoing system and vigorous discourse" regarding dynamic and complex subjects.

"Was the BBC willing to conduct a thorough dialogue and debate and implement changes?" she reflects. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
