Operational Restructuring
The center's head, a previous Amazon UK leader, confirmed that multiple research initiatives at the organization with 440 employees have been closed, transferred out or finished because they aren't consistent with the new direction.

The institute has faced organizational challenges since last year as workers demonstrated against restructuring, culminating in a group of employees registering an official concern to the proper supervisory commission.
